In August 2015 the UK based radio station West Star Radio asked Jos Verboven if he would like to do a weekly radio show. He said “Yes”, and they agreed upon me doing a weekly radio show dedicated to electronic music of various styles. That is how radio show Electronic Fusion of Brainvoyager was born. The very first episode was broadcast on 18 September 2015.

Over its ten year history, Brainvoyager produced 500 episodes.  SCIFI.radio began broadcasting them in 2019 under its old station name, Krypton Radio.  In 2021, the station changed its name to SCIFI.radio.  All the episodes broadcast with that station identification, some 217 of them, now play in original broadcast order in the original broadcast timeslot each Sunday at 9 am and 9 pm Pacific time.   The complete informational archive of what was broadcast in each episode has been provided by Brainvoyager, and can be downloaded here.

Electronic Fusion at its height was broadcast by four radio stations, of which SCIFI.Radio was the largest. The show also had the support of six renowned record labels that provided their releases for airplay, thus hugely enabling the show to showcase the newest music from artists from all over the world.

Electronic Fusion did not feature and promote just the world’s best known and most famous electronic artists and bands. Instead, it encouraged music submissions from electronic (indie) artists and bands from all over the world. Jos Verboven himself is a master of the medium. The 500th episode is comprised entirely of his own electronic music.
