Secret Level is a new animated anthology series for adults featuring original stories set within the worlds of some of the most beloved video games universes. From the creative minds behind LOVE, DEATH + ROBOTS, each of the 15 episodes aims to be a celebration of games and gamers. And feature amazing, intense, state of the art animation. The 15 epic stories arrive globally on Prime Video December 10.

The announcement was made during the Gamescom Opening Night Live global livestream.

Secret Level weaves a tapestry of iconic games across multiple mediums, to tell a series of unique and captivating stories,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television for Amazon MGM Studios. “Each episode of ‘Secret Level’ serves as a gateway to a new adventure, unlocking exciting worlds from beloved gaming classics and highly anticipated new titles.

Prime Video’s slate of adult animated series, which includes “Invincible,” “Hazbin Hotel” and “Batman: Caped Crusader,” as well as its video game adaptation series “Fallout,” have garnered praise and awards nominations. Secret Level is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studio, and Dave Wilson (LOVE, DEATH + ROBOTS) serves as executive producer and supervising director.

The games inspiring these 15 original stories are:

Armored Core
This is a third-person shooter mecha-style video game series developed by FromSoftware, who also made games like ‘Dark Souls’ and ‘Elden Ring’.
Concord
This upcoming hero shooter is set to release in just a few days.
Crossfire
While it may not be that well-known in the US, Crossfire is one of the most played games in the world. Its main market is in Asia where it has a lifetime total of one billion users.
Dungeons & Dragons
This iconic tabletop role-playing game allows players to create characters and embark on adventures in a fantasy world, using a combination of storytelling, dice rolling, and strategic thinking. Also a hit movie.
Exodus
An upcoming game, ‘Exodus’ is a science fiction action-adventure role playing game set on a future Earth.

God of War
An action-adventure game series that follows Kratos, a Spartan warrior, on his quests involving battles with gods and mythical creatures, blending combat with rich storytelling. Now in the modern world.
Honor of Kings
A multiplayer online battle arena game, popular in China, where players control characters with unique abilities to battle in strategic team-based matches.
Mega Man
A classic action-platformer series where players control the titular character, Mega Man, to defeat various bosses and acquire their powers.
New World: Aeternum
An Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) set in a supernatural island world where players explore, craft, and fight in large-scale battles.
Pac-Man
The iconic arcade game where players navigate Pac-Man through a maze, eating pellets and avoiding ghosts.
Sifu
An action game focused on martial arts combat, where players seek revenge against enemies using fighting skills.
Spelunky
A platformer where players explore caves, collect treasures, and avoid traps in procedurally generated levels.
The Outer Worlds 2
A sequel to the sci-fi RPG that features space exploration, character customization, and branching storylines.
Unreal Tournament
A first-person shooter known for its fast-paced multiplayer matches and wide array of weapons.
The game is also known for its pioneering Unreal Engine which powers many games today.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine
British tabletop wargaming franchise released its first ‘Space Marine’ game back in 2011. The new game is under development.

David Raiklen
David Raiklen

David Raiklen wrote, directed and scored his first film at age 9. He began studying keyboard and composing at age 5. He attended, then taught at UCLA, USC and CalArts. Among his teachers are John Williams and Mel Powel.
He has worked for Fox, Disney and Sprint. David has received numerous awards for his work, including the 2004 American Music Center Award. Dr. Raiklen has composed music and sound design for theater (Death and the Maiden), dance (Russian Ballet), television (Sing Me a Story), cell phone (Spacey Movie), museums (Museum of Tolerance), concert (Violin Sonata ), and film (Appalachian Trail).
His compositions have been performed at the Hollywood Bowl and the first Disney Hall. David Raiken is also host of a successful radio program, Classical Fan Club.
