At last, it’s my great delight to unleash a whole new season of the Doctor and Ruby’s adventures together. Monsters! Chases! Villains! Mysteries! And a terrifying secret that’s been spanning time and space for decades. Don’t miss a second!

The iconic TARDIS will grace screens across the Whoniverse, marking its global debut. UK fans are in for a treat as, for the very first time, they’ll witness the Doctor’s arrival with not one but two episodes premiering on BBC iPlayer at the stroke of midnight on Saturday, before making its way to BBC One later that day, just before the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final.

Meanwhile, fans outside the UK can join in on the excitement as the Doctor and Ruby embark on their epic escapades, with the TARDIS touching down on Disney+ in select regions.

This season promises unlimited viewing options for UK viewers, with the freedom to catch the action either right at midnight on BBC iPlayer or during primetime on BBC One on Saturday nights.

The teaser hints at the thrilling adventures awaiting The Doctor and Ruby Sunday. Ncuti Gatwa returns as the Fifteenth Doctor, alongside Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday, following their acclaimed debut on Christmas Day in “The Church on Ruby Road.” Throughout the upcoming series, audiences can expect time-traveling jaunts to mysterious realms, including the Regency era, outer space worlds, and swinging sixties England.

Additionally, familiar faces such as Michelle Greenidge as Carla Sunday, Angela Wynter as Cherry Sunday, and Anita Dobson as Mrs. Flood will grace the screen, alongside a lineup of esteemed guest stars including Jinkx Monsoon, Aneurin Barnard, and more, promising a season packed with excitement.

Showrunner Russell T Davies expresses his excitement, promising a rollercoaster ride of monsters, chases, villains, mysteries, and a long-hidden secret spanning time and space.

Produced by Bad Wolf with BBC Studios for the BBC and Disney Branded Television, Doctor Who remains exclusively available on the BBC in the UK, premiering on BBC iPlayer at midnight on May 11th before airing on BBC One. International fans can catch the action on Disney+ starting May 10th at 7pm ET, ensuring a simultaneous global launch. Subsequent episodes will follow the same schedule, dropping on BBC iPlayer at midnight on Saturdays and airing on BBC One in primetime each week thereafter.
