Burnham and Book are back in action against an alien threat in this new clip from Star Trek: Discovery’s final season.
This trailer made its appearance last weekend at the CCXP 2023 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. It’s a simple action sequence, pitting the pair against some interesting dragon-like monsters, and tells us very little — until we remember that Book had been previously sent to a Federation prison for being accessory to stealing a highly classified military prototype, and that he deployed a subspace weapon of mass destruction. How did he get out, and why? And are Michael Burnham and Book a thing again? So many questions — and we’re going to have to wait for the answers.
This is the last clip they’re going to release before it premieres, or so Paramount says.
Star Trek: Discovery Season 5 makes its debut on Paramount Plus sometime in April of 2024.
