The Watcher is back with more stories. The Multiverse has gotten a little twisted.
Familiar characters play roles they were never origionally meant for in this nine episode series, which Netflix will release on a one episode per day schedule on the Disney+ streaming service starting on December 22, 2023. The animation is as good as ever, the voice acting seems spot on, and the role swapping is hot and heavy. The Hulk with a moustache? Yes, that’s a variant of Cate Blanchett’s Hela in one of the new stories. and her spiked headpiece is notably missing. Star-Lord as a kid? And what’s with that 80’s lineup of Hank Pym, Bucky, Goliath, T’Chaka, Thor, and Mar-Vell? There’s a lot to unpack.
