With the death of Kang the Conqueror at the end of Season 1, saving the universe falls to — LOKI??? In the new season, Loki is being ripped out of time and thrown about history for reasons nobody can figure out. Somehow Kang the Conqueror is still mixed up in all this, despite the fact that we watched him die.
As a special treat, Ke Huy Quan appears as a TVA repairman named OB. Moebius and Loki come to see him to see if he can help with a problem.
“We have a little bit of a situation we wanted to run by you.”
“Moebius! Great to see you again!”
Loki vanishes.
“That! That’s what’s been happening.”
“Wow! Timeslipping.”
“Wait… Time… You know that?”
“Yeah.”
“You’ve seen that?”
“Yeah.”
“Can you fix that?”
“No. It’s impossible to timeslip in the TVA.”
“I know, but we just saw it happen.”
“Yeah.”
Sophia Di Martino is back as Sylvie, the female Loki variant. Owen Wilson returns as Moebius, the TVA time agent. Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as the adventuresome, meddlesome, irrepressible Loki. The three of them are in a race against time to save … time … wait. It’s all so confusing. There is so much in play here. Even Ms. Minutes may be working against them.
The trio is racing through time trying to save all of space-time. As we get closer to the release of the first episode, we will see more trailers. Watch this space.
The new season kicks off Friday, October 6, 2023.
