Earth is targeted by a previously undiscovered asteroid storm which was actually created by aliens who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they have seen every episode of Firefly and cannot be destroyed by a bunch of kids playing disco music on boom boxes but one cunning young man somehow convinces them that people are okay and they become the new rulers of Earth, ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity.
