Earth opens a gateway to the afterlife, allowing spirits to roam the earth who want to plug us into a power grid and use us as living batteries even though they can all do credible singing impressions of Ethel Merman and cannot be destroyed by a bunch of Elvis impersonators but they fall in love with a young girl and they become the new rulers of Earth, ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity.
