Earth unleashes a cosmic plague, threatening all life in the universe that has a y in their name who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they can all do credible singing impressions of Ethel Merman and cannot be destroyed by a bunch of kids playing disco music on boom boxes but one cunning young man somehow convinces them that people are okay and so they leave our planet and fly home.
