Earth becomes the subject of a cosmic reality TV show for ferrets who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they are only slightly radioactive and cannot be destroyed by a crowd of people with pitchforks and torches , but scientists create a new weapon which does not work but they die from catching the common cold.
