Earth encounters a parallel universe populated by sentient squirrels who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they smell really bad and cannot be destroyed by a bunch of kids playing disco music on boom boxes but one cunning young man somehow convinces them that people are okay and they form a rock band and tour the galaxy, becoming interstellar celebrities.
