Earth awakens ancient cosmic guardians to defend against an otherworldly threat from extraterrestrial cats who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they can all do credible singing impressions of Ethel Merman who tend to stutter under pressure when confronted by a crowd of people with pitchforks and torches but they fall in love with a young girl and they are taken in by a kindly old lady who mistakes them for lost children.
