Michael Keaton returns as Beetlejuice in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, this time to save the daughter Astrid (Jenna Ortega) of Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder) from some evil fate after she accidentally opens a portal to the Afterlife. And, astonishingly, it looks like Beetlejuice is actually in charge of of a division of Afterlife Police.

The film sees the return of Catherine O’Hara as Delia Deetz, and features Willaim Dafoe, Monica Bellucci, and Danny DeVito.

The first installment of the series was the first film Beetlejuice, which premiered in 1988, just one year before his second opportunity to work with Michael Keaton, which was the now classic Batman (1989). Burton is an accomplished, award winning producer and director known for his dark, quirky sense of humor. His most recent work was as executive producer and director of the Addams Family themed Wednesday TV series in 2022,

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice materializes on cinema screens everywhere on September 6.
