Here’s the Challenge
Break a spell and share it for a collection of magical short stories and the chance to hear your story read by a voiceover artist!
Submit a short-short story (500 words maximum) about someone’s attempt – successful or otherwise – to break a spell, and receive a free copy of August Niehaus’s Spellbreakers short story collection (from her new series The Library Attic Collection Presents). Plus, the grand prize winner – chosen by August – will get their story recorded by her on professional recording equipment!
Here’s How to Enter
- Craft your short-short (500 words maximum) story.
- Submit your story via email to Lori Alden Holuta at The Brassbright Chronicle. I will share the stories with August Niehaus, and she will select the winner. The winning story and runners up will be posted at The Brassbright Chronicle for everyone to enjoy. (We only claim first publishing rights. Authors retain all rights to their work, and are free to sell, share, publish or do anything else with them as they please.)
- Spread the magic by sharing this contest page with your friends and on all your social medias.
