Tune in today, Saturday, at 4 pm Pacific, 7 pm Eastern when hosts Susan Fox and Gene Turnbow welcome producer, screenwriter and fantasy author Frank Zanca to discuss his upcoming graphic novel, Lords of LA. It’s an R-rated film noire romp through Los Angeles of the 1950’s, when rival gangs of vampires battle for control of the city’s vast underworld.

The 48-page graphic novel is beautifully illustrated by newcomer Alex Femenías and inked by Maria Keane Star Trek, Buffy, Godzilla, and GI Joe for Boom and IDW. There will be several variant covers, including one done by Hedwin Zaldivar of Grimm’s Fairy Tales.

Frank Zanca is an award-winning screenwriter, novelist, and board game designer. He is known for his Destiny Aurora series of novels as well as the adapted graphic novel and board game – Destiny Aurora Renegades. He has produced films such as Star Trek: Renegades, Six Gun Savior, and Redville, including productions for Hulu, Tubi, Showtime, Netflix, and more.

Frank Zanca is an award-winning screenwriter, novelist and Hollywood producer and board game designer. He began working in local television at the age of 22 when he became a Promotional Producer for an ABC affiliate. During this time he wrote and produced thirty-second spots for the newscast and syndicated shows such as Geraldo and Sally Jesse Rapheal. Later he worked as a Production Assistant on NBC’s Gonzo Games and Dick Clark’s Sea World Summer Spectacular.

Frank also has years of experience in Sales and Marketing. In 2006 Frank moved to Los Angeles and began to Produce, Line Produce and UPM. Recently he wrote produced a Supernatural/Western called Six Gun Savior starring Eric Roberts (Dark Knight) and Martin Kove (Karate Kid).

Frank was first published as a comic book writer with a series entitled Shadow Raven. He’s since published four novels, namely: Shadow Raven: The Sabre’s Edge, The Awakening and Escape From Berlin: The Diane Jacob’s Story. (All Available on Amazon.) His sci-fi series Destiny Aurora now has 4 full-length novels, a graphic novel and a miniatures board game attached. His 7th novel: Destiny Aurora: Rovanna Lost has just been released.
