Earth awakens ancient cosmic guardians to defend against an otherworldly threat from extraterrestrial cats who understand us all too well even though they are only slightly radioactive and might be overpowered by a bunch of kids playing disco music on boom boxes but they fall in love with a young girl and they form a rock band and tour the galaxy, becoming interstellar celebrities.
