Earth awakens ancient cosmic guardians to defend against an otherworldly threat from extraterrestrial cats who perceive us only as a food even though they can all do credible singing impressions of Ethel Merman and cannot be destroyed by a nuclear bomb , but scientists create a new weapon which does not work and then they kill us all.
