Earth hosts a cosmic talent show for extraterrestrial performers who understand us all too well even though they are radioactive who tend to stutter under pressure when confronted by a bunch of kids playing disco music on boom boxes but one cunning young man somehow convinces them that people are okay and they form a rock band and tour the galaxy, becoming interstellar celebrities.
