Earth awakens ancient cosmic guardians to defend against an otherworldly threat from extraterrestrial cats who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they all do bad impressions of William Shatner and might be overpowered by a crowd of people with pitchforks and torches but they fall in love with a young girl and they form a rock band and tour the galaxy, becoming interstellar celebrities.
