Earth contracts a case of cosmic amnesia, forgetting everything that happened yesterday except for weasels who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they are only slightly radioactive and might be overpowered by a crowd of people with pitchforks and torches , but scientists create a new weapon which kills them all.
