Earth slows to a stop and starts spinning in reverse which confuses house pets who want to plug us into a power grid and use us as living batteries even though they are only slightly radioactive and cannot be destroyed by the army, navy, air force, space force and/or marines but a priest tells them about the God and they are taken in by a kindly old lady who mistakes them for lost children.
