Earth suffers a temporary glitch in the space-time continuum, creating sentiant walruses who do not understand us even though they smell really bad and cannot be destroyed by a crowd of people with pitchforks and torches but they fall in love with a young girl and they form a rock band and tour the galaxy, becoming interstellar celebrities.
