Earth develops a temporal echo across multiple timelines creating duplicates of everyone on Earth who want to plug us into a power grid and use us as living batteries even though they can all do credible singing impressions of Ethel Merman who derive their sustainance by a slap to the side of the head with a large fish but they fall in love with a young girl and they are taken in by a kindly old lady who mistakes them for lost children.
