Michael Shanks, best known for his role as anthropologist and linguist Dr. Daniel Jackson on Stargate SG-1 and its sequels, turns 53 today.

Actor Willie Garson succumbed to cancer at the age of 57, In addition to co-starring as Mozzie in “White Collar,” he was a frequent guest on “Stargate SG-1” and “Supergirl.”
