Earth phases into an alternate universe where there are aliens who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they are radioactive and might be overpowered by a crowd of people with pitchforks and torches but they fall in love with a young girl and they form a rock band and tour the galaxy, becoming interstellar celebrities.
