Earth enters a state of quantum flux, causing reality to warp and bend but only for red-headed people who understand us all too well even though they can all do credible singing impressions of Ethel Merman who tend to stutter under pressure when confronted by a bunch of kids playing disco music on boom boxes , but scientists create a new weapon which does not work so they eat us all.
