Earth becomes the focal point of a cosmic prophecy foretelling the end of days for anybody who speaks Latin who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they can all do credible singing impressions of Ethel Merman and cannot be destroyed by a nuclear bomb but they fall in love with a young girl , whom they marry and live long and prosper.
