Earth awakens ancient cosmic guardians to defend against an otherworldly threat from extraterrestrial cats who understand us all too well even though they can all do credible singing impressions of Ethel Merman and might be overpowered by a nuclear bomb , but scientists create a new weapon which does not work and then they kill us all.
