Earth becomes the battleground for an epic showdown between cosmic forces of good and evil who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they have seen every episode of Firefly and cannot be destroyed by a crowd of people with pitchforks and torches , but scientists create a new weapon which does not work but they die from catching the common cold.
