I visited India in 2008, and noticed something surprising: the locals usually spoke not a word of English, except one: “Superman”.

It was Bob Kane that created Batman’s distinctive character design. The now-controversial artist would have been 104 today.

The best stories are the ones that make us better versions of ourselves for having heard them.
