Earth ascends to a higher plane of existence, leaving behind a changed world but only for left handed people who understand us all too well even though they all do bad impressions of William Shatner who derive their sustainance by a bunch of kids playing disco music on boom boxes but one cunning young man somehow convinces them that people are okay and they become the new rulers of Earth, ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity.
