Earth travels through a wormhole to the edge of the universe and beyond only to find actual worms who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they can all do credible singing impressions of Ethel Merman who tend to stutter under pressure when confronted by a bunch of Elvis impersonators , but scientists create a new weapon which does not work so they eat us all.
