Earth awakens ancient cosmic guardians to defend against an otherworldly threat from extraterrestrial cats who want to plug us into a power grid and use us as living batteries even though they have seen every episode of Firefly who derive their sustainance by a bunch of Elvis impersonators but one cunning young man somehow convinces them that people are okay and they are taken in by a kindly old lady who mistakes them for lost children.
