Earth discovers a portal to a dimension filled with sentient vegetables who do not understand us even though they have seen every episode of Firefly and cannot be destroyed by the army, navy, air force, space force and/or marines but one cunning young man somehow convinces them that people are okay and they form a rock band and tour the galaxy, becoming interstellar celebrities.
