Gravity Waves Rock The Galaxy

Scientists report evidence that the whole universe around us is awash in the quiet background vibration of gravitational waves.

Here’s the first image of Sagittarius A*, the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way Galaxy.

The white dots in this image are not stars, or galaxies. They’re black holes. Every galaxy has one singularity or more at its core.
