Earth suffers a temporary glitch in the space-time continuum, creating sentiant walruses who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they are only slightly radioactive who tend to stutter under pressure when confronted by the army, navy, air force, space force and/or marines but one cunning young man somehow convinces them that people are okay and so they leave our planet and fly home.
