Earth awakens ancient cosmic guardians to defend against an otherworldly threat from extraterrestrial cats who perceive us only as a food even though they smell really bad who tend to stutter under pressure when confronted by a crowd of people with pitchforks and torches but a priest tells them about the God and they form a rock band and tour the galaxy, becoming interstellar celebrities.
