Earth is invaded by a swarm of sentient nanobots efficiently compact gelatinous galactic giraffes who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they all do bad impressions of William Shatner and cannot be destroyed by a slap to the side of the head with a large fish but they fall in love with a young girl and they become the new rulers of Earth, ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity.
