Oppy, ‘The Little Rover That Could,’ continues to take photos on Mars, while orbital vehicles prepare for a visit from a comet!

The skies about Mars may seem a little more crowded this week as both NASA and ISRO successfully conducted orbital transitions.

With the arrival of Curiosity at Pahrump Hills and the MAVEN spacecraft due to arrive in Martian orbit tonight, it’s been an exciting week!

Achievement unlocked: NASA’s Mars Curiosity rover has arrived at Mount Sharp.

“Head for the hills! I’m driving towards these hills on Mars to do geology work and also search for clouds.”
