Spider-Noir stars Nicholas Cage in his first television role, and is an eight episode mini-series set in 1930’s New York. All eight episodes drop on May 27, and is produced by Sony Pictures Television for the MGM+ and Prime Video streaming services.

According to a press release, Spider-Noir will debut domestically on MGM+’s linear broadcast channel on May 25, then globally on Prime Video on May 27 “as a binge release,” in more than 240 countries and territories.
The show will also be available to stream in two ways: in “Authentic Black & White” and “True-Hue Full Color” for audiences to choose their own adventure to watch. The series was shot digitally, in color, but specifically designed to be viewed in black and white, using a color process intended to mimic the look of the nitrate films of that era that gave us the shimmering “silver screen” look. The “True-Hue” version is a conceit as well, meant to look like a colorization of the original black and white.
