It’s the weekend of New York Comic Con 2025, so naturally the teasers, trailers and other announcements are coming fast and furious. We’re happy that this one for Season 4 of Strange New Worlds is among them. They’ve obviously hit stride, and this is Star Trek at its very finest.
In the upcoming fourth season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise—led by Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike—embarks on a series of thrilling and emotional adventures across the stars. As they journey to strange new worlds, they will battle inner demons and external threats, encounter colorful new characters, reunite with familiar faces and confront terrifying aliens. Through it all, they strive to embrace a bright, hopeful future.
In these dark times, it’s exactly what we need.
This teaser is of a single episode, presumably the first one of the new season. The presentation breaks with tradition. Usually they’re a montage of several episodes. In this case they might be still busy doing visual effects and post production, making such a montage impractical for the moment.
The new season will make its appearance likely early in 2026, but no date has been announced yet.
