This is our last look before The Fantastic Four: First Steps releases to the world on July 25, 2025.

There is so much to unpack here! The Fantastic Four: First Steps is an amalgam of various storylines stitched together to make a movie.

• Yes, the Silver Surfer is female, Shalla Bal. It’s canon. Get over it.
• Galactus is absolutely going to be walking the streets of New York. Unlike the original Fantastic Four movie from 2005, he’s given his traditional, gigantic anthropomorphic form and the helmet with the handlebars.
• Sue and Reed Richards are having a baby, who turns out to be a one of the most powerful characters in the entire Marvel universe.
• Johnny Storm can generate so much lift, he can fly Ben Grimm over a drop point, and yet still not actually burn him while doing it. Cartoon physics for the win.
• Ben Grimm is sporting a beard. That’s also canon, just not from this point in the timeline.
• Ben doesn’t actually like saying “It’s Clobberin’ Time!” Apparently that’s just in the cartoons. Johnny, however, doesn’t appear to be taking “no” for an answer.

It’s gonna be a great summer, and the Fantastic Four, starring Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Backrach, Julia Garner and Ralph Ineson, will be leading the way.
