A reunion of the Endless thrusts Lord Morpheus onto a perilous path, where a fateful choice makes him the target of a relentless quest for vengeance.
There are seven siblings in Dream’s family, called The Endless, only four of which appear in season one. Destiny, Dream, Death, twins Desire and Despair, Destruction, and Delirium. Their respective sigils are a book, Dream’s helm, an ankh, a heart, a hook, a sword, and a swirl of colors. In the comic, all but Death have unique speech bubbles, Death being the most normal and human-like of the siblings.

Tom Sturridge returns as Morpheus, the lord of dreams. Boyd Holbrook is back as the Corinthian, and Vivienne Achaempong returns to her role as Lucienne. Jenna Coleman.
The Sandman is based on the beloved graphic novel series written by Neil Gaiman (whom we haven’t seen much of lately, owing to his having been publically shamed for his problematic personal behavior). The show was originally optioned in 2010, and first announced in 2013, with Season 1 filming beginning in August 2021, and the filming for season 2 begun in June 2023. It has been a very long road getting this production finished and into the hands and livingrooms of the viewers.
Everyone loves a good story, but all stories come to an end.
The Sandman returns for its epic final season. Vol. 1 – July 3 | Vol. 2 – July 24, only on Netflix.
