Join hosts Gene Turnbow and Susan Fox on May 17 and May 18, 2025 at 4 pm Pacific Time when we welcome Marc Guggenheim, co-creator and showrunner of Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Dreamworks’ Trollhunters series to name but a few. He also wrote the screenplays for the 2011 film Green Lantern and the 2013 film Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters, has a long history writing comicbooks for both Marvel and DC Comics, and has written several novels as well.

He comes to SCIFI.radio’s Event Horizon today to talk with us about his latest independent comic book series, The Adventures of Ulysses Monarch, It’s a futuristic adventure story about an adventurer and archeologist, Ulysses Monarch, who searches for rare artifacts left by an ancient civilization. 

The twist is that that ancient civilization is us.

The first issue is out now, and it’s part of Comixology Originals.
