“You had one job, Kevin!”
It looks like something straight out of Robot Chicken: behold the awe and mystery of the 86th Watcher Awards.
Welcome to the 86th annual Watcher Awards! Who will take home this year’s Lifetime Achievement award?
You know that sense of outrage you feel when the fringiest outlier gets nominated for each category in an awards show, and the most undeserving actually win? This awards show feels like that. Why the 86th annual Watcher awards? Why that specific number? It turns out that the entire Marvel Universe is only 86 years old. Marvel Comics #1 was published in November, 1939.
It’s a pretty fun little animation, and we thank whoever it was at Marvel Studios that gave this project a green light, along with Jon Gutierrez, who wrote it, and JAM Roll Studios, who animated and edited it.
