At a graduation ceremony on July 2, 2022, Ncuti Gatwa was awarded an honorary degree from his old theater school.

To the delight of the graduating class, the actor from Sex Education was honored during the event alongside Outlander’s Sam Heughan from Outlander. The actor, born in Rwanda and reared in Edinburgh, later enrolled at the RCS in Glasgow and earned a BA in acting there in 2013.
