What if Filmation had made episodes of Voyager? Gazelle Automations continues its homage to Filmation’s version of Star Trek with this new release of a condensed episode of the live action Star Trek: Voyager.
The episode they used was from season 2 called Threshold, where the aftermath of a warp travel experiment fast tracks the evolution of Lt. Tom Paris and Captain Janeway into an amphibious future form, where they mate and produce little offspring that escape into the swamp.
The characters and backgrounds, are designed in the Filmation style, and the stilted animation style is exactly on point, exactly capturing the look, feel and tone of the original animated Star Trek series from the late 1970s.
It’s an amazing accomplishment for Gazelle Productions, and we can hardly wait to see what they take on next!
