After so many decades, Star Trek fans are finally getting the prequel series we’ve been waiting for. Anson Mount stars as Captain Christopher Pike in this new teaser for the upcoming Paramount Plus series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

Captain Pike’s love of horses is given a huge nod in this new teaser as he rides Tango across snow-covered plains of the northern climes of Earth places Pike in sharp contrast to the universe that awaits; Pike is recalled to duty, to serve as Captain of the Enterprise.
