Experience the origin story of a Space Ranger in Disney and Pixar’s , in theaters Summer 2022. ? Check out a brand-new trailer for Disney and Pixar’s “Lightyear,” an original feature film releasing June 17, 2022. The sci-fi action-adventure presents the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear—the hero who inspired the toy—introducing the legendary Space Ranger who would win generations of fans.

Chris Evans lends his voice to Buzz. He’s the only actor listed for the film, but of course it’s been fully voice-cast at this point. The reason this film wasn’t on anybody’s radar is that Disney hasn’t made a press release on anything since October, so unless you were working on the film yourself, chances are pretty good this is the first you’ve heard of it.
