Running a sci-fi radio station is harder than you’d think. No matter how on top of things you try to stay, you’re constantly surprised by new discoveries. Take Chris Cape’s Mark Hamill Can Handle, for instance. This creative confection moves the needle on the Star Wars geek-o-meter as animation, LEGO, visual effects, and for just plain being a great song.

Somebody had a whole lot of time – and Star Wars LEGO sets.

The video for the song was created by the extremely talented James Muxworthy. Music-wise, the song is not only well written with some nice hooks, it’s got a crunchy backbeat and it’s not either overproduced or underproduced as so many fan songs are, so it has a nice clean sound.
